What a credit buys
A business that is new to the project you ran the search in: its name, location, contact details where the business publishes them, the tier, and the written reason for that tier. A business already in that project is refreshed rather than charged again, so re-running over the same area only pays for what is genuinely new.
Businesses that do not fit your description at all are dropped before delivery, and you are not charged for them.
How a run is charged
When you start a run we hold the number of credits you asked for. When it finishes we charge for the leads actually delivered and release the rest back to your balance — you do not have to ask, and you can watch the held figure in the header while it runs.
A run that completes has a minimum charge of 10% of what was held. The search, the website crawls and the scoring cost the same whether the area turns out to be full or nearly empty, and without a floor an identical re-run would be free forever. A run that fails has no floor: it pays only for leads you received.
A single run delivers between 10 and 1,000 leads. Larger targets are several runs, which also keeps the coverage warnings readable per area.
Before you spend anything
Every project offers a free preview: up to 5 real businesses from your area, scored exactly the way the paid run scores them, with the reason written out. Contact details are not part of the preview — they arrive with the run.
The preview says “up to” because it means it. On a live run it read twelve businesses and one of them qualified; the rest were the wrong sort of business and the scorer dropped them. That is the qualification rate doing its job, and it is better seen before you pay than after.
